Farm Wisconsin moves free Little Sprouts program to Thursdays
The Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center will be offering Little Sprouts on the third Thursday of every month. The free program, which includes agriculture-connected storytelling, songs and activities, is perfect for babies, toddlers and preschoolers along with their parent/caregiver.
Little Sprouts will have its first event of 2020 on Thursday February 20th starting at 10am and will take place in the theater in the Discovery Center. Little Sprouts visitors can additionally take advantage of Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center’s activities, exhibits and Land O’Lakes Birthing Barn after Little Sprouts by purchasing admission to the center. Kids 3 and younger are free.
The Wisconsin Café will offer Little Sprouts breakfast specials for the kids starting at $5 on days of Little Sprouts program. This will include special clown pancakes, bacon, tator tots, vegetables and of course sprouts.
“Little Sprouts has been a popular activity for young families to expose little ones to agricultural topics and socialize with others,” says Patty Lehn, Farm Wisconsin’s executive director. “We just moved the program from Tuesdays to Thursdays, so families can take advantage of local library programming, too.”
Farm Wisconsin also offers memberships with unlimited visits throughout the year and other benefits. Membership costs range from $40 for an individual, $60 for a dual membership or $80 for families and grandparents.
