MANITOWOC, WI – Celebrate June Dairy Month by visiting Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center’s Dairy Day event, sponsored by Klondike Cheese and Masters Gallery Foods. On Saturday, June 22 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., guests can dive into the fascinating world of the Wisconsin dairy industry.

Throughout the building, various hands-on interactive stations will highlight the dairy industry. Guests can follow the journey of milk from cow to carton, create colorful milk swirl art, step in the shoes of a dairy cattle nutritionist, and more. Additionally, family and friends can pet and take photos with an adorable calf.

Jersey Valley Cheese will be giving samples of their A2 cheese. This unique milk lacks a specific protein found in regular milk, making it suitable for those with digestive sensitivities. Different cheese products will be available to purchase for interested guests.

In addition, author Chase Pagel will be present at the event to sign copies of her popular book: Rosco’s Sweet Treats. Pagel’s heartwarming book highlights the journey of her daughter raising a steer, Rosco, on their family farm and discovering his favorite treat.

Fitzgerald Farms will also be attending Dairy Day to demonstrate proper cow clipping techniques. Visitors will get the opportunity to learn how experts get cows ready for the county fair show ring.

Tickets for Dairy Day can be purchased in advance online or at the front desk on the day of the event.
