MANITOWOC, WI – Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center invites all moms and grandmas to their Mother’s Day Celebration event Saturday, May 11, 2024. From 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. that day, moms may enjoy a fun-filled day in the discovery center free of charge with their family members.

Guests can treat their moms to an unforgettable experience exploring 10,000 square feet of interactive exhibits that highlight food, fiber, and fuel production in Wisconsin. A virtual tour of the local Grotegut Dairy Farm showcases animal housing and care, current technology and sustainable environmental practices. The Land O’Lakes Birthing Barn features two expectant Grotegut Dairy Farm cows and the chance to witness the miracle of a calf birth.

“I know making memories with our kids is Number One on moms’ wish lists,” says Farm Wisconsin Executive Director Patty Lehn. “We wanted to recognize Mom with complimentary admission on Saturday, and hope all moms have a wonderful weekend.”

In addition, the facility’s Wisconsin Café features a special Mother’s Day brunch menu including: battered cheese curds, bruschetta, candied bacon, tenderloin medallions and eggs, shrimp rice bowl, caprese chicken sandwich, traditional eggs benedict, café burger, cheese strata, blueberry French toast, and a pancake flight. 

Farm Wisconsin admission for the rest of the family are $16 for adults, $14 for seniors 62 and older, and $10 for youth 3-18. Kids 2 and younger are free. Purchase tickets online in advance or in-person the day of the visit.
