Manitowoc, WI (November 28, 2018): The Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center will be hosting the first Breakfast at the Barn on November 28, 2018. The breakfast buffet will begin at 7:15am with a presentation from Bill Jartz beginning at 8:00am.
Breakfast at the Barn is an agriculture educational event that will be held six times a year. At each breakfast, Farm Wisconsin will feature a different dynamic presenter that will focus on a variety of topics in the agriculture industry.
Bill Jartz, News Anchor for WBAY-TV Channel 2 and the voice of Lambeau Field, will kick-off Breakfast at the Barn sharing his story. He will be tracing his life starting out on the farm in Clintonville, going to Northwestern on a football scholarship, getting into the broadcast business, and still keeping an interest in farming. Bill finds farming to be such a uniting and noble profession and one we all think about at least three times a day.
The breakfast and presentation is included in the ticket price, which is $10 for Farm Wisconsin Members and $15 for Non-members. Tickets must be pre-purchased either online at https://farmwisconsin.org/tickets/ or call Farm Wisconsin at (920) 726-6000. Ticket deadline is Friday, November 23.
