Enjoy Milk and Cookies with Santa
Manitowoc, WI (December 14, 2019): This year, the Dairy Farm Families of Manitowoc County, Manitowoc County Dairy Promotion Committee and Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center will once again be hosting “Milk and Cookies with Santa.” The event will be held on Saturday, December 14 from 9:00am to 12:00pm.
Santa will be at Farm Wisconsin, in the main entrance, for photos and to take requests for Christmas gifts. All kids will receive a cookie and milk while visiting with Santa courtesy of the Dairy Farm Families of Manitowoc County. Manitowoc County Dairy Promotion Committee is providing other fun activities for the kids.
This event is open to all and does not require a paid admission to Farm Wisconsin to participate. All kids will receive free admission to Farm Wisconsin for the day when accompanied by an adult chaperone with a paid admission.
Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., seven days per week. The Wisconsin Café located inside the center is open for breakfast and lunch 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Access to the Wisconsin Café and the center’s country store are free and independent of admission to the discovery center.
Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center:
The Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center is a state-of-the-art, interactive agricultural education center located in Manitowoc County. Farm Wisconsin connects visitors’ curiosity to the wonder of Wisconsin farming and provides guests with a better understanding of their food sources. The center features 10,000 square feet of hands-on learning opportunities, a birthing barn where visitors may watch calves being born daily, and an opportunity to tour a local farm to learn about Wisconsin’s rich farm history.
Manitowoc County Dairy Promotion Committee
Manitowoc County Dairy Promotion Committee is a county dairy leader group, which works to promote dairy products to consumers. Co-hosting Breakfast on the Farm each year where visitors can see first-hand how farmers produce the food for their communities. The committee also hosts various events throughout the year to encourage use of wholesome and nutritious dairy products such as milk, butter, yogurt and ice cream. The committee is supported by the dairy farm families of Manitowoc County.
