A ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, July 11, 2024 marked the opening of the Manitowoc Area Visitor & Convention Bureau (MAVCB) visitor center at Farm Wisconsin. Attendees from around the area, MAVCB staff, and Farm Wisconsin staff joined together to recognize this historic day.

Now, when guests visit Farm Wisconsin, they will immediately notice the plethora of travel information within the entrance.

This collaboration between MAVCB and Farm Wisconsin takes advantage of the strategic location along I-43, attracting travelers at the half-way point between Chicago and Door County and other destinations.

Attendees celebrate after Farm Wisconsin executive director and MAVCB board member, Patty Lehn, cut the ribbon.

Breakfast refreshments – French toast, mini packages, egg sandwiches, and coffee.

Old and new friends enjoy a breakfast meal together.

We are thrilled to partner with MAVCB and look forward to welcoming visitors from across the country. MAVCB will be open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, along with the Farm House Store and Ice Cream Acres. Farm Wisconsin’s hours of operation will remain the same.
