MANITOWOC, WI – Celebrate springtime at Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center on Saturday, March 30, 2024. The center’s popular Egg Hunt and Maple Day return– this year, combined for an enhanced one-day experience. Family-friendly activities will run from 9 AM – 1 PM.
In addition, thirteen eggs of various species are due to hatch in the center’s incubator. Visitors might see a newly hatched Cuckoo Maran, Easter Egger, and/or Lavender Cochin chicks, as well as ducklings.
Throughout Farm Wisconsin, young guests may hunt for hidden plastic eggs and redeem them for goodies. Guests may also take photos with the Easter Bunny.
The event will also spotlight one of Wisconsin’s sweetest industries, maple syrup production. The Wisconsin Maple Syrup Producers Association, will again provide several science activities. Tap into the world of maple production and discover what it takes to make high-quality maple syrup from experts.
All activities for the Egg Hunt and Maple Day are included with the price of general admission to Farm Wisconsin.
Complement the day with a festive farm-to-table Easter brunch made with local ingredients. The brunch will include scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, French toast sticks, mini pancakes, ham, roasted chicken, cheesy potatoes, mashed potatoes, vegetables, salad, fruit platter, and dessert.
All egg hunt and maple science activities, as well as admission to the discovery center, are included in the price of brunch tickets. The tickets are available in hourly timeslots.
Brunch tickets for non-members – Ages 0-2: Free, Youth 3-12: $19, Adults 13+: $29. Farm Wisconsin members will receive a $5 discount per youth or adult ticket. On March 24 and after, non-member ticket prices will increase by $5 – Ages 0-2: Free, Youth 3-12: $24, Adults 13+: $34.
Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center
The Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center is an interactive agricultural education center located in Manitowoc County. Farm Wisconsin connects visitors’ curiosity to the wonder of Wisconsin agriculture and provides guests with a better understanding of their food sources and their importance.
