BE INSPIRED by this visitor’s story to support our mission during Giving Tuesday!
Grandfather, Don Reineking, grew up on a farm near Sheboygan. His nine-year old granddaughter, Maezy, possesses a love and curiosity for animals.
During their recent visit to Farm Wisconsin, Don shared with Maezy his childhood memories and together they learned about present-day production of food, fiber, and fuel in Wisconsin.
Among 10,000 square feet of exhibits plus a live birthing barn, their top two favorite moments were meeting two-day old bull calf, Chester, and learning about agronomy from an interactive exhibit. Says Don, “I never knew that it takes 500 years to produce one inch of soil”.
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, your support connects people of all ages to the miracles of farming and the diversity of agriculture in Wisconsin.
