MANITOWOC, WI—As football fans from across the country head to Green Bay for the draft, Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center invites visitors to celebrate Wisconsin agriculture and take part in cheese-themed activities sponsored by Gather Wisconsin. From Tuesday, April 22 through Saturday, April 26, between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., guests can enjoy a slice of Wisconsin with self-guided tours of the center, a chance to see a cow give birth, up-close encounters with piglets, and cheese-themed activities.

Friday and Saturday, attendees will have the additional opportunity to board a school bus for a behind-the-scenes tour of a local, family-owned dairy farm. Tours will be led by a Farm Wisconsin guide, offering guests the chance to ask questions and learn more about daily life on a working dairy farm.  Bus tours will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis for an additional $5 at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 25 and Saturday, April 26. Availability is subject to change.

Inside the discovery center, visitors can participate in a range of cheese-themed activities, including a blind cheese taste test. Featuring some of Wisconsin’s finest cheddar, this activity challenges participants to put their taste buds to the test and identify different cheeses. A selection of local cheese and unique Wisconsin-made souvenirs will be available for purchase at the Farm House Store.

Adding to the excitement, piglet friends will be on site all week, offering guests the chance to pet and snap memorable photos. All cheese activities and pig interactions are included in the price of general admission to Farm Wisconsin. Tickets can be purchased online or at the reception desk during the event week.

Farm Wisconsin’s café will also be open Tuesday through Saturday. The café, which features farm-to-table breakfast and lunch options, is open 8:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. on those days.
