Join us for a family-fun day getting up close with adorable piglets and a friendly sow, all thanks to our incredible partners, Peter Family Show Pigs. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to pet these cute four-legged visitors and snap pig-ture-perfect photos to capture all the sweet moments.
In partnership with Wisconsin Pork Producers and the University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Animal Sciences, there will be various hands-on pig-related activities! Create your own pig Chex mix to take home, design your own pig ear tag, and more.
Guests can also enter a pork raffle for a change to win half a hog. Tickets are $10 each, and winner will be drawn on Friday, February 28. The selected winner will receive the pork this coming September.
Swine experts will be on site to answer all of your curious questions, like:
🐖 Why do pigs love rolling in the mud?
🐖 Do pigs have a good sense of smell?
🐖 How do they communicate with each other?
The Wisconsin Café at Farm Wisconsin will feature a mouthwatering pulled pork sandwich and Newton Meats hotdogs. Guests are invited to dine in the café for breakfast and lunch, open from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
