Meet an ‘Adopt-a-Cow’ Calf
This year, over 1,600 Wisconsin classrooms participated in the new ‘Adopt a Cow’ program sponsored by Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin and Discover Dairy. Each of these classrooms adopted a calf from farms throughout our state to learn about the calf’s life, what she eats and how she is cared for all year-round.
Join these teachers and students for a FREE opportunity to meet some of the calves they adopted!
*NOTE: Participation in the Adopt a Cow program is not necessary to come out to Farm Wisconsin and say hello to our four-legged guests!
Attendees will be able to meet Dorito, Sharlamagne, and Seroogy, as well as their owners: Farmer Heather and son, Farmer Evan.

After visiting with the calves, guests are invited to extend their experience at Farm Wisconsin, and explore our 10,000 square feet of exhibit space, visit the Land O’Lakes Birthing Barn, and take a virtual farm tour of the Grotegut Dairy Farm.
Tickets for the discovery center may be purchased ahead of time online, or at the reception deck the day of the event.
