March 12, 2022 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Join us for the second annual Maple Days at Farm Wisconsin, Friday, March 11, and Saturday, March 12!
The two-day event will highlight local syrup producers and offer hands-on opportunities to learn about Wisconsin’s maple industry.
- Tap a sugar maple log
- Learn how to grade maple syrup
- Learn about the science of sap
- Make maple taffy
- Sample pure Wisconsin maple syrup!
All activities are included with Farm Wisconsin admission.
On Saturday, visitors are encouraged to extend their experience beyond Farm Wisconsin with stops at three local sugarbushes. Inthewoods Sugar Bush, Maple Sweet Dairy, and East Ridge Villa will be open to the public from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. for guests to witness maple syrup production firsthand. Visitors can see the sugar maple trees, modern sap collection tools, and processing equipment that turns sap into sweet maple syrup.
Visiting three out of the four sites throughout the Maple Days event will enter participants in a drawing to win a gift basket filled with Wisconsin-made maple products, courtesy of the participating sugarbushes. Punch cards can be picked up and dropped off at any location.
