Honey Bee Workshop

Have you ever wondered what it a day in a bees life would be?  If you have an interest in bees and getting your own honey this workshop is for you.  

 This workshop is a two-part event featuring two local apiaries. The first workshop features Rawley Point Honey, LLC presenting Bees 101 –  learn about the hives, the life cycle of bees, and even get to extract a honeycomb with your hands! 

The second workshop features Natures Hex. Learn how much honey bees produce, local vs national brand of honey as well as what environment is best for the bees. What can we do in our flower beds to help!   

Date | Saturday September 26, 2020

Cost | Salvation Army Food Drive – Half Priced Admissions for anyone that brings in a canned good.

Rawley Point Honey, LLC – Two Rivers

Owners Dean and Kathy Greenwood will be sharing their passion on beekeeping and having hands on experience for you to learn how to extract honey!

Nature’s Hex – Milwaukee

Owners Erin and her husband have been fascinated by the wonders of bees for some time now. They have recently started their own business and strive to become more self-sustainable by preserving nature and the little power houses, bees. Their mission is to share what they have learned, share the hard work of the bees and allow us to be mesmerized by Nature’s Hex.
