1 in every 9 jobs in the state of Wisconsin is connected to agriculture.
With such a high need for future workforce, comes an increasing demand for students to explore agriculture, food, and natural resources career pathways.
Presented in partnership with Inspire Wisconsin and Food and Beverage of Wisconsin.
Join the Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center for their Agri-Career Quest – an event designed to bring together agriculture, food, and natural resources industry professionals and high school students curious about a role in agriculture and food production.
Farm Wisconsin’s Agri-Career Quest is FREE to participating schools and structured around the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction’s Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources Career Pathway.
Teens will learn about career opportunities as they rotate through stations focused on these systems. Each rotation will include an overview of the system followed by the opportunity to interact with career representatives.
Tentative Schedule
- 8:30 – 9:00 am Registration and networking
- 9:00 – 9:30 am Opening remarks and career overview
- 9:30 am – 1:00 pm Career exploration rotations throughout the building
- 1:00 – 1:30 pm Closing remarks and light lunch
