                                              Join us this Saturday!

MAY DAY: Green Bean Planting

Ring in the first day of May with a visit to Farm Wisconsin! We’re celebrating #MayDay by planting green bean seeds all morning long. Visitors will be able to plant a green bean seed in an environmentally-friendly container to take home to their own garden, while supplies last.

Did you know Wisconsin ranks first in the nation for the processing of green beans?! Fresh green beans are very low in calories and are a rich source of dietary fiber and Vitamin A.

Stop by Farm Wisconsin from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. this Saturday, May 1 to learn all about green beans and leave with a planted green bean seed to take home.

Entrance is regular priced admission- Includes Admission into Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center and the birthing barn!

$8 Youth (4-18)

Don’t forget to shop in our Farm House Store for an array for Wisconsin goodies and unique items! Plus you can visit our Ice Cream Acres – serving 16 different flavors of cedar crest ice creams.

The Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center is a state-of-the-art, interactive agricultural education center located in Manitowoc County. Farm Wisconsin connects visitors’ curiosity to the wonder of Wisconsin farming and provides guests with a better understanding of their food sources and their importance. The center features 10,000 square feet of hands-on learning opportunities, a birthing barn where visitors may watch calves being born daily, featuring the Farm House store and Ice Cream Acres serving 16 flavors of Cedar Crest Ice Cream.
