Join us for Earth Day at Farm Wisconsin 9 am – 1 pm on Saturday April 24th.
Have you ever wondered: Do farmers care about the environment? The short answer – YES! Caring for the environment is an essential part of a farmer’s job, and is a responsibility not taken lightly.
Join us on Saturday, April 24 to learn all about various ways farmers and processors in Wisconsin are taking steps to care for the land and water around them.
? Engage with our partners at Gearbox Labs and experience their interactive sensors built to assist agriculturists on all scales.
? Get up close and personal to John Deere equipment furnished by our partners at Riesterer and Schnell and discover how modern agriculture equipment is designed with the environment top-of-mind.
? Leave with a take-home workbook provided by our friends at the Manitowoc County Soil and Water Conservation Department.

The Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center is a state-of-the-art, interactive agricultural education center located in Manitowoc County. Farm Wisconsin connects visitors’ curiosity to the wonder of Wisconsin farming and provides guests with a better understanding of their food sources and their importance. The center features 10,000 square feet of hands-on learning opportunities, a birthing barn where visitors may watch calves being born daily, featuring a Farm House Store.
