Dairy Day

Join us at Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center on Saturday, June 22 for our June Dairy Day event! From 9 am – 1 pm, come celebrate Wisconsin’s dairy industry and the farmers who define our state with high-quality milk products.
Visitors can PET and make friends with adorable calves AND kid goats!
Jersey Valley Cheese will be on site sampling their delicious A2 dairy products. What is A2 milk? Visit to learn the benefits of this unique kind of milk.
Throughout the building, various hands-on interactive stations will highlight the dairy industry. Guests can follow the journey of milk from cow to carton, create colorful milk swirl art, step in the shoes of a dairy cattle nutritionist, and more.
In addition, guests will have the opportunity to meet author Chase Pagel and get a signed copy of her book, Rosco’s Sweet Treats. Learn about her daughter’s journey raising a Jersey Steer and discover which specific treat the steer, Rosco, loved the most.
Experts from Fitzgerald Farms will be on site with their cow to demonstrate proper clipping techniques and to elaborate on how it can enhance the steer’s appearance.
CentralStar Cooperative, Inc. will help guests explore dairy cow genetics and the processes used within their field of agriculture through hands-on activities and demonstrations!
