Test your farming knowledge this weekend at Farm Wisconsin’s ‘Farmer for a Day’ event.
Learn how our state’s corn growers determine the yield in each of their fields, and how to shuck corn quickly. Try your hand at mating dairy cows, and learn how animal genetic companies assist farmers with their breeding goals. Determine the properties of several feedstuffs fed to our cows, including the proper particle length and moisture content. Finally, end the day by putting your muscles to the test when it is time to push up feed to the cows.
