Who needs chocolate and flowers when you can meet a whole litter of piglets? This year, our beloved annual Piglet Day gets a little sweeter as we celebrate on Valentine’s Day, from 9 AM to 1 PM.
Thanks to our partner, Peter Family Show Pigs, guests can meet, pet, and play with these piglets up close. These tiny four-legged friends are full of personality and they’re sure to steal your heart.
In between meeting the piglets, try a swine breed matching activity and learn how to properly care for them with a pig farrowing simulator with Lakeshore College.
Special guests Sarah Hagenow, the 78th Alice in Dairyland, along with experts from the Wisconsin Pork Association, will join the fun with additional hands-on activities. At 10 AM, young attendees can also enjoy a pig-themed story time.
The cafe will offer a special meal-deal, featuring a pulled pork sandwich or Newton Meats hot dog, each served with a choice of chips and a drink. Breakfast and lunch will also be offered from 8 AM–2:30 PM.
