Soups & Stocks Pressure Canning Class

Warm up your fall with a hands-on experience in making and preserving homemade soups and stocks! In this pressure canning class, attendees will learn the art of safe and effective home canning, led by Farm Wisconsin’s chef Andrew Hazeu, Amanda Strojinc, owner of Hopefully Homesteading, LLC, and knowledgeable All American 1930 canning professionals.

Workshop participants will receive:

  • Step-by-step guidance toward preparing a vibrant fall soup and a simple stock.
  • Hands-on directions to pressure can stock using top-of-the-line All American 1930 pressure canners.
  • A copy of Preserving with a Purpose book by Sarah Thrush.
  • Soup to enjoy during the workshop.
  • A pint jar of freshly canned stock to take home after the class.
  • Guidance and take-home materials on essential food safety and canning best practices.
