Celebrate Chinese New Year with Ginseng

Ring in the Chinese New Year with a ginseng celebration led by Alice in Dairyland.
Plan to come early to reserve your seat – only 10 participants will be allowed in for each session. Pre-registration can be done online here.

During these sessions, Julia Nunes, Wisconsin’s 73rd Alice in Dairyland, will share the wonders of Wisconsin-grown ginseng and its importance to the Chinese New Year during several sessions throughout our day-long event.

The Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center is a state-of-the-art, interactive agricultural education center located in Manitowoc County. Farm Wisconsin connects visitors’ curiosity to the wonder of Wisconsin farming and provides guests with a better understanding of their food sources and their importance. The center features 10,000 square feet of hands-on learning opportunities, a birthing barn where visitors may watch calves being born daily, and the Farm House Store.
